Main Building
State Scientific-Research Control Institute of
Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives is one of main scientific
institutions of Ukraine and CIS in the sphere of development, improvement and
standardization of control methods of veterinary medicinal products, fodders
and feed additives. State recognition of Institute was validated by Diploma of
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The history of Institute began on the 18th
of February, 1976, when Western-Ukrainian Zonal Scientific-Control Laboratory
of All-Union State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary
Medicinal Products was founded. The first director of ZSCL (1976-1984) was
Kosenko M.V. Then a branch was created on the basis of the Institute, which in
1991 was reorganized into State Scientific-Research Control Institute of
Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives with Serhiienko O.I. as a
director (1984-1993). He is Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Honoured
Man of Science and Technics of Ukraine. Then Kosenko M.V., Doctor of Veterinary
Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural
Sciences, Academician, Honoured Man of Science and Technics of Ukraine, again
was at the head of the Institute. The current director of the Institute is
Kotsiumbas I.Ya, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member
of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
The Institute possesses:

Section of pharmacological medicinal products of State pharmacological Commission of veterinary medicinal products.

Technical Committee 132 of Derzhspozhyvstandard of Ukraine “Protection means for animals, fodders and feed additives”.

Trial centre of State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives accredited by National Accreditation Agency in Ukraine due to the requirements in the sphere of organoleptic, physicochemical, immune-enzyme, toxicological tests of products of plant origin, fodders, premixes, feed additives, pharmaceutical medicinal products for needs of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry.
