Department carries out researches of standardization of veterinary preparations, feed additives, methods of quality control of veterinary preparations, bringing of normative documents to conformity with requirements. Department is organized by a state supervision and control after activity of enterprises which produce, keep, transport and realize products for veterinary medicine, coordinates the sampling test of quality of veterinary preparations and feed additives. Important direction of activity of quality of department is an inspection of enterprises of veterinary medicine for the purpose of their licensing, organizations of attestations of enterprises and accreditations of veterinary medicine laboratories, preparation of inspectors for veterinary medicine.
