The laboratory carries out control of quality of antibiotics and also preparations which are used at the recreation of agricultural animals. Laboratory develops the methods of control of quality of chemotherapeutic preparations, methods of remaining amounts of antimicrobial preparations in raw material and products of animal origin determining, methods of determination of antibiotics in sterns and premixes, methods of diagnostics, treatment and prophylactics of sub-clinical mastitises of cows. Laboratory conducts monitoring of antimicrobial sensitiveness of basic exciters of infectious diseases of non-contagious etiology of agricultural animals and bird. State veterinary controllers of laboratory carry out state control after a production, storage and realization of veterinary preparations, forage, premixes and feed additives.The employees of laboratory render the scientific-methodical help of veterinary preparations producing enterprises, agricultural enterprises and establishments of veterinary medicine of Ukraine in relation to a production, control of quality and application of veterinary chemotherapeutic preparations.

- methods of determination of antimicrobial substances in food, premixes and    fodder additives;
- methods of determination of antimicrobial sensitivity of organisms;
- new highly-effective chemically therapeutic products for treatment of non-contagious infectious diseases of animals;

Under control:
- the quality of antimicrobial chemically therapeutic products according to the contents and activity of substances, regulated by normative    documentation during registration of new substances and selective control of already registered medical products and also during arbitration testing;
- clinical tests of newly-presented chemically therapeutic products on experimental animals;
- certification tests of mixed fodder and premixes and presence of antimicrobial substances in their composition;
- control testing of enterprises of veterinary medicine according to production, labeling, packaging, storage condition and handling of veterinary medical products, mixed fodder, premixes and fodder additives.

justified during TK 132 session “Means of animal protection, fodders and fodder additives” in accordance with protocol ? 29 on 10 December 2007.
- determination of antibiotics content (tylosine, tetracycline, tiamuline and other) in mixed fodders, premixes and fodder additives;
- determination of MRL in milk, fresh and frozen meat.;
- determination of MRL in products of animal origin by means of Premi Test;
- determination of antibiotics in mixed fodders, premixes, fodder additives by means of Premi Test;
- determination of organism sensitivity to antibiotics;
- recommendations according to preventive measures and treatment of cow subclinic mastitis.
