Tkachenko Volodymyr I.
Functions of laboratory:
| - | analysis of normative documentation due to its accordance with requirements of the Ukrainian legislation and international regulative bodies. |
| - | recreation of liquid chromatographic methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis, presented in technical and normative documentation during the conducting of governmental registration and selective control of veterinary products, premixes and fodder additives. |
| - | development, adaptation and implementation of chromatographic methods of control by using modern equipment, new veterinary products that contain one or more active substances. |
| - | harmonization of existing methods of control used manufacturers, with methods of control, adopted in EU that promises wider usage of highly-effective liquid chromatography. |
| - | analysis of veterinary products, premixes, and fodder additives. |
| - | laboratory is equipped with computerized chromatographic systems of production (Waters (the USA) and Knauer (Germany)). |
| - | laboratory controls veterinary products of different pharmacological groups and different forms (solutions, powders, creams and others) and fodder additives produced by the Ukrainian and foreign manufacturers. |
Main developments of laboratory:
Laboratory constantly improves and adds computerized bank of methods of analysis of more than 400 units of medical veterinary products (e.g., antibiotics, vitamins, anthelmintics and others). It allows the laboratory to increase the speed and reliability of governmental control of veterinary products in accordance with their qualitative and quantitative .
Laboratory gained great experience in creation and adaptation HPLC-methods of analysis of veterinary products of different chemical composition and therapeutic effect (e.g., some antibiotics, anthelmintics, some hormonal products, fodder additives and other). The scientists of this laboratory adapted, modified, created and implemented different methods of control for about 200 veterinary products (e.g. neostomazan, deksafort, levamizol, vitamin products, premixes and other).
Laboratory took part in development of normative documentation for new Ukrainian and foreign medical products and is still working in this direction. New methods of control are employed for antibacterial medical products with wide range of effects, for some medical products with antibacterial effect and also for vitamins as part of premixes.
