The laboratory develops, improves and introduces physical and physico-chemical methods for quality control of veterinary preparations, clinical, physiological, biochemical, toxicological and therapeutic methods of activity determination for veterinary medicinal, using infusoria, bees, fruit flies (drosophilae), guppies, laboratory and farming animals. The following new preparations have been developed and introduced in veterinary medicine practice: 1% and 2% Glycetynat, Makluran, ointment Kanatrі, Chlorophylipin, Alurvet, Rhizome and roots of Alpine sorrel and Masculine fern. The laboratory published a reference book “Veterinary Phytopreparations” and prepared for publishing such books as “Basics of animal husbandry”, “Preclinical studies of veterinary medicinal products” and “Problems of Ecology”. There was prepared the monography “Clinical testing of veterinary preparations”. Scientists of the laboratory improvet and adapted methods of gas-chromatographic determination of hydrophobic compounds and pesticides in veterinary preparations and food.
