On August 14, 2025, in Lviv, within the framework of preparations for the negotiation process on Ukraine’s integration into the European Union, regional hearings were held with representatives of regional state administrations and business entities in order to coordinate national negotiating positions under Chapter 11 “Agriculture and Rural Development,” Chapter 12 “Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy,” and Chapter 13 “Fisheries.”

The hearings were attended by Volodymyr Stybеl, Director of the State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

During the event, participants exchanged experience, discussed key challenges and opportunities, and provided recommendations for shaping a consolidated position of Ukraine in the forthcoming negotiations with the European Union.
