September 14, 2016 in SCIVP of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives Volodumur Ivanovuch Lapa – the Head of State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection and Mukola Vasulyovuch Bilous – the Head of the Department of Veterinary held talks with representatives of the Republic of Poland governmental delegation, headed by the Chief veterinary inspector Volodumur Skorupskyy (Warsaw) and Kshushtof Niemchuk – Director of National Veterinary Research Institute, Pulawy. Polish delegation representatives noted that between Ukraine and Poland in recent years has developed fruitful cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.

September 5-6, 2016 in Kazimierz Dolny (Republic of Poland) was held XXXIII International Scientific and Technical Conference in Poland “MATERIALS, FOODS, FEED ADDITIVES – SAFETY AND QUALITY ASSESSMENT”, which was organized by Institute of Zoothechnics National Research Institute of Animal Production, Krakow, State Laboratory of feed, Lublin and National Veterinary Research Institute (PIWPIB), Pulawy. Volodumur Skorupskyy – Chief veterinary inspector participated in the conference.

April from 18 to 22, 2016 scientific workers of high performance liquid chromatographs’ Laboratory have undergone training in quantification of vitamins in feed, premixes and veterinary products by HPLC method in State Laboratory of feed, Lublin (Poland).
April 25-28, 2016 took place seminar-training “Implementation of GMP in veterinary medicine in Ukraine. Requirements to premises and equipment. Documentation”.
The workshop was attended by inspectors of National agency of veterinary preparations (France).
November 13-15, 2015 inWarsaw, Republic of Poland an international congress of small animals took place, where our delegation had reports concerning issues of diagnosis and treatment of oncologic, endocrinological, dermatological and other diseases. Reports about surgical operations of gastric dilatation-volvulus were of special interest. All reports were of great interest among the participants of the congress.
Sidelines communications with participants from different countries: Poland, Italy, Netherlands, USA, Georgia, Lithuania, Armenia, allowed to establish contacts for future cooperation and also exchanging the experience in small animals’ diseases diagnostics and treatments.
November 12-14, 2015 delegation of scientists from Ukraine visited the international livestock exhibition EuroTier in Hanover and visited the clinic for cattle «TIHO».
Doctor Martin Höltershinken informed the colleagues from Lviv with the departments and clinic work. Constructive talks on clinical examination and diagnostic tests and animal care have been carried out. “Visitors from Ukraine were interested in diagnostic methods and which analytical equipment is used in certain cattle diseases. At the end of this visit the exchange of specialists and planned joint scientific research were discussed” –said Doctor Martin Höltershinken.
September 30-October 2, 2015 in SCIPV veterinary medicinal products and feed additives (Lviv) was held VI International Scientific Conference “Veterinary medicine: development, quality control and application”, dedicated to SCIPV veterinary medicinal products and feed additives 40-th anniversary.
The conference was attended by more than 150 leading scientists in the field veterinary medicine from Ukraine, Austria, Great Britain, Georgia, Korea, Germany, Poland, Russia and France, as well as heads and specialists of institutions and enterprises that develop, produce, store and sell veterinary medicinal products, feed additives, veterinary products, animal and poultry products.
From August 18 to 22, 2014 delegation of SCIVP of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives coworkers, under the agreement on scientific cooperation, trained in specialized laboratories of the National Veterinary Research Institute (PIWPIB), Pulawy (Poland). Series of highly efficient screening methods for detection of mycotoxins, antimicrobial residues, GMO presence, and microbial pollutions were developed. Thus obtained samples for the planned inter-laboratory comparative studies. During the exercises polish colleagues presented scientists with the latest EU regulations regarding safety and quality of veterinary products. Round table raised the issue of registration, standardization and certification of products intended for veterinary medicine and livestock in the Republic of Poland and Ukraine.
October, 1-2 2013 in Lviv with participation of State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service, SCIVP of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives, National Agency of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives (Ukraine), National Agency of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives (France) took place seminar-training on “Implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in veterinary medicine of Ukraine.” The seminar discussed the issue of implementing the principles of good manufacturing practice (GMP) in veterinary medicine in Ukraine (Speaker – Dr., d.b.s. Yu.M. Kosenko).
Jean Regis, Director of International Relations Virbac Firm (France), presented in detail the procedure of registration of veterinary medicinal products in European Union Member States, shared the experience of implementation GMP in manufacturing process of veterinary medicinal products in France.
Jean-Michel Sapin, pharmaceutical inspection representative international of National Agency of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives (France), focused on the analysis of legislation concerning Good Manufacturing Practice in European Union Member States, basic Good Manufacturing Practice requirements in European Union Member States, system of inspections for compliance with GMP in Member States, granting permits for production of veterinary medicinal products and qualification requirements for “competent qualified persons”.
